The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover

I have been using this eye and lip makeup remover since 7th of April 2016. That is more than three years in a row. I obviously like it but why? Keep reading to find out!

The package design has changed once or twice during the three years but the insides have stayed the same. When I started using it, it was in a clear see through bottle with camomiles on the package. Now it has a paper-plastic sticker around the middle and no flowers on the bottle. To be honest, I liked the previous design more.

This formula is gentle on the eyes. I don’t have to rinse my eyes after or feel any soreness. I was and still am positively surprised with the product. The eye makeup remover does a fantastic job. When I use it, I hold a cotton pad on my eyes for fifteen to thirty seconds, depending how strong my eye makeup is. After that I gently wipe my eye makeup off. Sometimes if I am wearing a black liner then I have to repeat the progress. Overall it removes makeup quickly.

I used their solid eye makeup remover four-five summers and that was a disappointment for me. Perhaps by now their solid eye makeup remover formula has changed and it is good but I can’t tell. I like this eye makeup remover and I don’t see a reason to change it out to something else.  Usually I am very picky when it comes to eye makeup removers. For this I have no complaints.

  1. I have a mini of this that I got in a set at Christmas. I’m not actually a huge fan of it, it’s almost too gentle for me & doesn’t remove my mascara enough! Maybe I am doing something wrong! I’ll try it the way you say you do it x
