The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser review / C-Vitamiini Säraandev Geelkreemi arvustus

I bought The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser in December and I have been using it for couple of months now. I have liked it quite a lot, so I thought I let you know my thoughts about it.

Like the name says, it is a  Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser. It is a lightweight gel type daily moisturiser which hydrates lightly and gives my skin a healthy glow. The gel makes my skin look more awake on days where it looks like I woke up four hours too early. You all know how that happens when you are reading a good book or are hooked up to a Netflix show. “Just one more chapter/episode, just one more”, I whisper to myself as I see the sun rising.

See on kergemat geelkreemi tüüpi päevane niisutaja. C-Vitamiini kreem annab mu nahale ilusa, värske jume, mis on eriti oluline neil hommikutel, kus unest on umbes neli tundi puudu jäänud.

The gel comes in a beautiful bright orange plastic jar. From far I couldn’t tell it wasn’t a glass jar. I realised only when I took it of the counter it was so much lighter than I anticipated. It looks like a bright orange juice cocktail with a pinch of sunrise in a mixture. I really like the cheerful orange tone. The only thing that bothered me, is the fact it didn’t have a separate cardboard package around it. It isn’t such a big deal but if Drops Of Youth and Oils Of LIfe creams come in a cardboard package, then why isn’t this?

Pealevaadates meenutab see apelsinimahla kokteili kuhu on lisatud näputäis päikesetõusu.

The gel itself is well, gel. The tone is mild orange and it has fresh orangey-lemony scent. It smears easily on my skin and dissolves quickly. For a minute, as it dissolves into my skin, the feeling is slightly tacky but it goes away. A few minutes later the skin is smooth.

Geelkreem on mõnusalt geeljas ja kerge. Toonipoolest on see pastelne oranżikas ja lõhn on segu apelsini-sidruni aroomidest. Geelkreemi on kerge peale kanda ja imendumisaeg on samuti kiire. Alguses tundub nahk küll natuke kleepuv, aga see tunne kaob kiirelt paari minutiga.

The moisturiser contains vitamin C, camu camu from Amazonian rainforest, and Community Trade aloe vera.

Geelkreem sisaldab C-vitamiini, Amazonase camu-camu marju ja Ausa Kaubanduse aloe verat.

I use it in the mornings, after I cleansing and toning my face. It is the last step of my morning routine. When I am doing my makeup, I use an extra primer too. It is a great moisturiser but for me, it doesn’t cut it as a primer too. I guess it is actually okay, because it is not meant for that either.

Conclusion:

  • Nice and fresh scent
  • Jar is beautiful orange
  • Dissolves quickly into skin
  • Doesn’t leave skin tacky or greasy
  • Suits well for my combination skin
  • Gives a bright healthy glow

Kokkuvõte:

  • Hea ja värske lõhn
  • Kreemipurk on kauni disainiga
  • Imendub kiiresti nahka
  • Ei jäta nahka kleepuvaks
  • Sobib hästi mu nahale
  • Annab värske jume

    • I always saw it in the store but I never really thought much about it. Then, at one moment I got a little sampler package and I really liked it. So I bought a full size jar lol
