Hairwonder Hair Repair series review

A few weeks back Puhas Kosmeetika ( http://puhaskosmeetika.ee/ ) sent me few products to try. In the package I found three Hairwonder products. There was a Hair Repair Shampoo, Hair Repair Hair Mask, and Hair Repair Heatcare Protector. I was using them for three weeks and now I am going to tell you my thoughts about them.

Hairwonder Hair Repair Shampoo

On the homepage of the producer it says:

“Mild cleansing shampoo for all hair types and daily use. Strengthens the hair, adds shine, condition and vitality. Enriched with 8 certified organic ingredients, Phytokeratin and Provitamin B5.”

The shampoo was mild and suitable for everyday use. At first I used it every day but after a week I got curious. From the second week I began using it everyday. I thought that my hair would be bundle of grease by the time I had to wash them again but I was wrong. It appeared to be a little more shiny than usual but nothing too terrible.

The shampoo itself is a transparent, watery liquid. I have to admit, I was sceptical at first because I wasn’t sure if it would get my hair clean. The shampoo had a light foam but it still did its job. Since the formula was watery, it rinsed out easily. That made the hair washing time shorter. It usually takes a longer time to wash shampoo out because of the length of my hair.

The shampoo is suitable for everyday use, which makes it a good product for people who need to wash their hair every day. It would be also a good shampoo for summer when it’s hot and hair gets greasy faster than during winter time.

Right now, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the formula. During winter I prefer to use shampoos which are more nurturing and hydrating. For me, this will wait for hot summer days when I need to wash my hair every day.
Hairwonder Hair Repair Hair Mask

On the homepage of the producer it says:

“Repairs and nourishes even the most damaged hair in one single treatment. For healthy, strong, silky soft and shiny hair. Ideal to treat coloured, bleached, permed, (extremely) dry or damaged hair. Enriched with 8 certified organic ingredients, Phytokeratin & Provitamin B5.”

To do this hair mask, I had to prepare some things first. From the deep ends of my bathroom drawers I had to dig out a shower cap. I knew I had one and now it was time to put it to use in over umm… eight years. I also needed a smaller towel to put on the shower cap.

So how did I use it? At first I washed my hair and then I generously applied the mask on my hair. After that, I made a little bun on top of my head and put on the long lost shower cap and the towel to keep everything warm. The warmth helped the vitamins and all the goodness from the mask to soak into my hair.

I chilled like that for approximately thirty minutes before I rinsed the mask out. After the mask my hair was nice and soft. It didn’t leave any specific smell so it is suitable for people who are sensitive to scents.

Hairwonder Hair Repair Heatcare Protector

On the homepage of the producer it says:

“Protect your hair against the heat of a blow-dryer, curling iron or any other styling tool. Heat-activated proteins form a protective film around the hair, preventing dryness and split ends. Strengthens the hair, hydrates and gives shine.”

The heat protector was easy to use. Like most of these type products, it came in a spray bottle. The mist was fine and covered a decent area of my hair with one spray. When I blow dry my hair, I usually use a heat protector anyway. I didn’t notice anything special standing out when it came to this product.

I would say that it does it’s job well. The only thing that bothered me, was the feeling I had on the next day. It made my hair feel dirty, like I needed to wash my hair even when it didn’t look that bad.

  1. Haha, I haven’t used a shower cap in years too! I have saved up a bunch of the disposable ones that I steal from hotel rooms. 😛 For hair masks, I normally just clip my hair up in the shower – I don’t leave them on too long.
