January favourites: Randomness

This month, all my December favourites are still my favourites and going strong. I haven’t really tried anything new which gave me the “wow” effect either so, this post is not going to be about makeup or beauty products. Instead, this time I am going to share with you my favourite quotes.

“They can take everything you own- your property, your best years, all your joys, all your good works, everything down to your last shirt- but you´ll always have your dreams, so you can reinvent your stolen world.” – From the book “The Attack” by Yasmina Khadra

“Everything has beauty,” she said, “but not everyone sees it.” – From the book “Her Mad Hatter” by Marie Hall

“I don’t have to read your mind,” she said, “to know what’s in your heart.” – From the book “The Vampire Lestat” by Anne Rice

“Your heart breaks for something you’ll never have” – From the book “The Vampire Lestat” by Anne Rice

“What lies beyond is the birth land, and that´s not always home.” – From the book “The Vampire Armand” by Anne Rice

“I’m rightly tired of the pain I hear and feel, boss. I’m tired of bein on the road, lonely as a robin in the rain. Not never havin no buddy to go on with or tell me where we’s comin from or goin to or why. I’m tired of people bein ugly to each other. It feels like pieces of glass in my head. I’m tired of all the times I’ve wanted to help and couldn’t. I’m tired of bein in the dark. Mostly it’s the pain. There’s too much. If I could end it, I would. But I can’t.” – From the book “The Green Mile” by Stephen King

“Blow the candle out, I don’t need to see what my thoughts look like.”  – From the book “Germinal” by Emilie Zola
