E.l.f Hydrating Bubble Mask

I heard about the e.l.f. bubble mask from a youtuber called Laura Lee. The moment I saw this, I knew I had to try it. God knows, I didn’t need another face mask but sometimes life happens. Long story short- I got myself the face mask and so far I am happy with my decision.

The mask comes in a little glass jar, which has a lid type pump. After removing the actual cover lid, there is a flat surface. When I push it down two times, I get enough product to cover my face.

How this mask works?

The first thing you should do, like with any other face mask, is to cleanse your skin. All face masks need to be applied on a clean skin. Applying face mask on a previously uncleaned skin is defeating the mask’s purpose.

When skin is clean, press the application lid down two times and apply the product on your still damp face. You have to be rather quick because the bubbles start forming almost immediately.

Then for the next five to ten minutes admire the bubbles and scare your loved ones in your house. When that is done, dab the bubbles down, and with circular motions rinse the mask off.

As a result you have a nice clean soft skin.

Does it do anything else besides giving soft skin and smelling like spring flowers after rain? It hydrates and clears the complexion. The results are not long lasting. For me, it is more of a mask that you do just for fun.

Have you tried the mask? What are your thoughts about it? Let me know in the comments.

    • I wanted to try a bubble mask for such a long time, that I kind of jumped onto it when I had a chance. It’s a fun mask to do but it isn’t something you have to have per se 🙂 The Body Shop masks are way better 🙂

  1. Woah! That lid pump is cool! I haven’t tried this product yet but I’m kind of skeptical to try elf skincare…you know how makeup artists/gurus say to invest in good skincare because that will automatically make your makeup look better…well I do think affordable skincare can be of good quality, I’m just not sure that elf fits in that too….
