Another month has passed, another bunch of products are used up. This time I managed to finish a lot of makeup products. It’s a longer post so grab a drink and make yourself comfortable. Without further ado, let’s get into this.
Marc Anthony Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo
This shampoo was sulfate free and infused with argan oil. Additional to argan oil, it also contained keratin and grape seed oil. All that together made the shampoo smell really good. The scent was light, rather freshly sweet, and not overpowering. I’m still not a fan of overpowering strong scents.

Holika Holika 92% Aloe Shower Gel
I liked the idea of aloe shower gel, but in reality, I didn’t like it too well. It foamed and smelled good. I didn’t have to apply a lot of product to get my loofa all foamy. The downside of the shower gel was that it dried my skin. It wasn’t noticeable straight after the shower. The dryness and skin pulling came though a few hours after the shower. Maybe if you have a problematic skin, then it would be a good product. For me, the shower gel is a certain pass. I didn’t hate it, but I wasn’t a fan either.

The Body Shop Drops Of Youth, Youth Cream
I first tried it from a little sampler package and I fell in love. It was a very lightweight cream, soft, and moisturising. The cream had subtle fresh scent. A big plus was that it disappeared into the skin quickly. I used it as a morning cream.
The texture of the cream was soft, and airy. It reminded me a bit of whipped egg whites. It was easy to apply on the skin with the little spatula. I don’t suggest dipping your fingers into any cream because of the possibility of contamination. At least I feel uncomfortable if I think of scooping face products on my skin with my fingers. It lasted me for five months.
Would I repurchase? I already did!
The Body Shop Moisture White Shiso BB Serum
It gave medium coverage and stayed on all day. Since it had serum inside, it also moisturised my skin. The BB serum was formulated with shiso, vitamin C and liquorice which helped to soothe hyperpigmentation and skin tone. I applied it with my fingers, and not with a sponge or brush. With this product I found that I got a better result with my fingers because it was rather creamy. It was also concentrated so one little pea sized amount went a long way.

Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes
They removed makeup gently and left my skin feeling fresh. The best thing about these was, I could remove my eye makeup with them. They didn’t make my eyes sting afterwards, which was a big plus. I usually used makeup wipes right after I get home. I take most of the makeup off with them and before bed I go through my evening routine.

Mossa Micellar Water Raspberry Vitamins
On the bottle it said “Removes makeup, tones, and moisturises. With natural raspberry vitamins and hyaluronic acid”. Hyaluronic acid, in laymans terms, are anti-aging agents .They bind moisture, improve firmness of skin, and prevent any aging symptoms. I am not worrying about that yet though, it’s too early for me, but I don’t mind using a product with said agents in it if I like it.
The toner smelled like fresh raspberry water. It did it’s job well, although I had to use three cotton pads to get all my makeup off. So it wasn’t the most effective micellar water I have used.
Would I repurchase? No, because I have used better micellar waters
Revlon Colorstay Foundation in the shade 200 Nude
The foundation was for combination/oily skin in the tone 200 Nude. It had medium coverage and was lightweight on the skin. Not once did the foundation leave my skin feeling heavy or suffocated. What I loved about this product the most is, that it was a perfect match for my skin tone! This was the first foundation I used years back when I started using makeup. It was my favourite and still is.

The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel
It had such a good fresh blueberry scent. I would also say it had a warm scent. The shower gel belonged more for evenings to relax mind and body from daily stress. It lathered up well and had no problem creating a sweet smelling foam. I love when shower gel lathers up rich. The shower gel was soap free so even people with more sensitive skin should be able to use it.

The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream
I used it probably twelve times a day, after every hand wash. The cream instantly moisturised, didn’t leave my skin greasy, and it had a subtle almond scent. Plus, my nails were happy too. I loved the almond scent and its texture. The texture was soft and a bit thicker than the usual hand creams are. It soaked into my skin quickly and didn’t leave my hands greasy.

Thats so disappointing that an aloe gel would be drying, you’d think the opposite when aloe vera is great for hydrating at any other time!
