Another month has passed so it is time to take a look at the products which I liked and loved in the past four weeks.
E.l.f. Hydrating Bubble Mask
The mask comes in a little glass jar, which has a lid type pump. After removing the actual cover lid, there is a flat surface. When I push it down two times, I get enough product to cover my face.
The bubbles start appearing almost immediately and cover my face with bubbly foam. After few minutes I dab them down and rinse my face. Does the mask do anything? It hydrates and is fun to do.
E.l.f. eye primer in the shade Sheer
The eye primer creates a smooth and even toned base for the eyeshadows. It is easy to apply and blend out. I also like that it doesn’t have a smell and it doesn’t crease throughout the day,
E.l.f. Eyeliner in the tone Jet Black
I think I am getting better at all the eyeliner thing because for me, it is easy to do a cat eye line. Of course it might have something to do with the amazing eyeliner. It has a soft thin brush, with what I can draw as thin line as I wish. It dries fast and the finish is matte. The handle sits well in the grip which gives even more control over the movements. The eyeliner is also somewhat waterproof, but only if you don’t rub it while it is moist.
Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening Mascara in the tone I ♡ Black
I love this mascara. Opening the tube, the brush looked like any other curved wand with little spikes. When I applied it, my lashes turned into beautiful butterfly wings. They were lengthened and separated. It looked like I had twice as many lashes than I usually have. The colour is deep black, it stays on well and doesn’t smudge or flake throughout the day.
IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation in the shade Medium Beige
I hadn’t used pressed foundation for years and now I am not sure why I stopped. The IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation is an amazing product to have. All I need to do is use a bit of concealer under my eyes and then apply the foundation all over my face. As a result I have nice finished look in less than three minutes.
The foundation blends well, is easy to apply, stays on all day, doesn’t separate, and gives a matte finish. If you have been following me for a while, you know, I love a matte finish.
IT Cosmetics CC+ Angled Buffing Foundation Brush
I use this brush to apply the previously mentioned IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation. The brush is soft but tense enough to grab the foundation on the bristles.
Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles in the shade Light Pale
I had heard so many youtubers and bloggers rave about this product. I finally gave in the hype and got one myself too. Right now I have no idea why I didn’t do it earlier. It covers everything that you want to cover. It has no problems covering dark circles or any other blemishes you don’t want the world to see. The concealer creases a little under the eyes but nothing too noticeable.
Tarte Grav3yardgrl Swamp Queen Eye & Cheek Palette with brush
I wanted this palette as soon as Grav3yardgirl announced her collaboration with Tarte. This Christmas, my wish came true. I found the palette under the tree and it made me the happiest girl in the world.
The colours are fabulous. They are well pigmented, long lasting, and easily worked with. I can blend them out without any effort. All the colours in the palette match with each other, which gives a lot of options for different combinations. Also, did I mention that the palette smells like vanilla cupcake? I haven’t tasted it, and I won’t, but the scent is delicious.
I haven’t used the bronzer yet, but the blush and highlight are perfect shade for my skin tone.
Another big plus is that it has a large mirror inside of the palette and all construction is quite sturdy. It makes it a perfect palette to take on a trip. In one palette you have eyeshadows, blush, highlighter, bronzer, and a mirror.
