Today we are going to look back at the year and see, what were my most favourite favourites through the year.
The Body Shop Olive Body Scrub
This is one of my favourite scrubs. I would describe this as a body scrub I reach for if I mean business. The scrub has strong and effective scrubbing particles. Without problem it removes all dead skin cells and gives ‘one skin size too small’ feeling. After using it I have to moisturize my skin for it to fit me again.
The Body Shop African Ximenia Scrub
To get rid of daily stress, I use a bit of African Ximenia Scrub in my evening showers. It has a warm, soft, sweet scent. It is a soft but effective scrub that makes me feel like a million bucks after the shower. It has a thicker consistency and glides on my skin like a warm, sugary butter.
Turbliss Firming and Enlivening Body Oil
I wrote a full review about the product here. I use it every day after my morning shower. The oil spreads easily on my skin and absorbs quickly. I don’t have that oily feeling after, and that means I can get dressed after a minute or two after using it. The scent of the product is herby and a bit spicy. It leaves a light scent on the skin which disappears within ten minutes.
The Body Shop Frosted Plum Shower Gel
The Frosted Plum series was a limited edition for winter 2015/2016. I hope they will bring it back next year as well. I loved the smell of the shower gel. It reminded me of a spiced up plum drink with a cinnamon undertone. Like every other Body Shop shower gel, it lathered up well and created a deliciously smelling soft foam. Plus, it cleanses the body well and is suitable for sensitive skin. I mean, what else do you want from a shower gel?
JOIK Refreshing foot bath
I usually do a foot bath after long days of being active. My feet get stressed easily so the foot bath is a blessing. I use boiling almost too hot water and two teaspoons of bath salt. After the foot bath my feet are much more relaxed and less tired. It also brings a really good night sleep. You can read more about it here .
I hope you enjoyed this post. If you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to let me know.
