Another month has passed, another bunch of products are used up. This time I managed to finish a lot of makeup products. It’s a longer post so grab a drink and make yourself comfortable. Without further ado, let’s get into this.
Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub
As I was browsing The Body Shop’s webpage I saw a product called Squeaky-Clean Scrub from Tea tree line. It looked so interesting that the next day I made my way to the shop. It was a face wash gel with gentle micro-fine exfoliants in it. It looked like something that would suit me. It foamed nicely and scrubbed my face. After washing, my skin feels clean and looks matte.
Would I repurchase? Perhaps, but probably no. I like The Body Shop Seaweed Pore Cleansing Facial Exfoliator more.
The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Gel Wash
It was a face cleanser with mineral rich seaweed from Roaring Water Bay Ireland. I used it as a first step of my morning routine and the second step of my evening routine. It cleansed my skin well. The product removed my makeup without any trouble and gave me a clean feel. It foamed nicely and smelled even better

The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover
The eye makeup remover did a fantastic job. When I used it, I held a cotton pad on my eyes for fifteen seconds. After that I gently wiped my eye makeup off.
This formula was gentle on the eyes. I didn’t have to rinse my eyes after nor did I feel any soreness. I was positively surprised with the product. Plus, did I mention how good the packaging looks?

Marc Anthony Argan Oil Conditioner
It was a good conditioner. It had a bit thicker consistency than most conditioners. It promised to strengthen and hydrate, along with restoring the luminous shine. Did it do all that? I guess, because my hair did look good. I had no tangles or dullness.
Would I repurchase? Maybe
Marc Anthony Repairing Argan Oil Treatment
The oil was lightweight, smelled nice, hydrated, and boosted shine. It also corrected damaged, split, and frizzy hair. The oil treatment was infused with bamboo. I noticed a difference in my hair after using it one time. My hair is shinier and looks so much healthier.

Marc Anthony Argan Oil Deep Hydrationg Conditioning Treatment
It was a great mask to do a few times. If you have long hair than it’s about two or three times you can use it before it is out. The mask moisturised and made hair soft. The only annoying thing about this product was its packaging. It was really difficult to find a good place to sit it without it falling it over.
Would I repurchase? No
The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser
At first, I planned to use it only as a primer under my foundation. As the days passed, I’d noticed that it is also perfect to use as a day cream since it keeps my skin´s oil production at bay. On the tube it says “Pores look smaller, skin feels purer. Smoothes, primes and instantly mattifies.” I can confirm, it does exactly what it is suppose to do. My pores look smaller on my cheeks and that is giving me healthier look.
Would I repurchase? Yes
The Body Shop Shea Lip Butter
It was a nice moisturising lip butter. I used it mainly when I was home because then I could use a lip brush to apply the butter. It softened and moisturised my lips. It had also a nice sheen to it and a good scent.
Would I repurchase? I actually have two of them, unused, waiting for me in the “new” basket.
Beauty Blender Pro
I somehow managed to “break” it from inside out. After washing beauty blender last time, it became kind of stiff from inside. By that I mean, when I made it wet to apply my foundation, one side wasn’t “spongy” anymore. The area was stiffer than it should have been.
Would I repurchase? I would but not right now. I have my RT sponge.
Revlon Age Defying Firming+Lifting Makeup in the tone 05 Fresh Ivory
I actually finished it probably in the middle of summer but it got buried with other makeup products and I forgot about it. Oooops! Mental note: clean makeup drawers more often. I remember I liked the product, although it wasn’t the most perfect shade for my skin. Somehow I made it work and used the whole bottle. It stayed on well through the day. I don’t remember having any trouble with it, so I guess it was a pretty good one.
Would I repurchase? Yes, but I’d pick a better matching shade.
Covergirl Lashblast Volume Mascara
LashBlast mascara was really impressing me. With two coats it gave me long, dramatic, clump-free, curled, and separated lashes. It didn’t smear or flake through the day. The brush was rubber-bristled and slightly oversized but that never bothered me. I prefer rubber-bristled brushes over “traditional” ones.
Would I repurchase? Yes
Dermosil Lip Gloss in the tone Venetian Red
I got it as a gift from some event last year. I wasn’t a fan of it so I only used it couple of times. It is actually a flop for me. The formula was quite gooey and sticky. I absolutely hate tacky-sticky formulas. The colour of the lip gloss was beautiful red. I´ll give it that but that´s about it.

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium
I fell in love with this scent at the moment I smelled it- dark, deep and dangerous smell which holds you in its grip and won’t let you go. Addictive. It made me feel like I’m out on a warm autumn evening in a field of flowers, or a cold winter night when it is snowing and I am having a mulled wine in front of a fireplace. It had the scent of dark longing for something, or a sweet satisfying danger. The top notes to me were coffee, vanilla and jasmine. Additional notes in the perfume were pink pepper, orange blossom, patchouli and cedar.

Holika Holika Sheet Masks
Baby Pet Magic Mask Sheet Vitality Panda
On the home page it says: Panda is a vitality mask sheet that contains Bambusa Vulgaris extract which contains organic Silica. Silica stimulates collagen and elastin to further strengthen your skin’s health. Niacinamide is also another key ingredient as it helps to brighten, and provide a radiating glow to your skin.
This was my favourite from all three. It looked good and it was cute. The scent of the mask was nice. I loved the feeling of it on my skin.
Baby Pet Magic Mask Sheet Whitening Seal
On the home page it says: Seal is a whitening mask sheet that contains niacinamide which helps to brighten, and provide a radiating effect.
This mask had a bit tingly feeling. At first it felt weird but as the minutes past, the tingly feeling went away. I suspect my own skin condition which caused the tingling.
Baby Pet Magic Mask Sheet Soothing Cat
On the home page it says: Cat is a refreshing and soothing mask sheet that leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth! Main ingredients contain aloe and calendula extract to help your skin distress from environmental factors and reduce redness within the skin. Also, containing niacinamide to help brighten, and whiten your skin for a radiating effect!

Holika Holika Healing Nails Finger Glove
These were interesting little finger gloves. They looked like little hats on nails. The gloves moisturised and looked fun. I only tried them one time so I don’t know how they work in long term. In short term first impression I liked them.
Would I repurchase? Yes, I would
Holika Holika Pig-Nose Clear Black Head 3-step kit
It was basically a sticker mask for the black heads on the nose. I usually don’t get them but those few I had, it pulled out. I liked the packaging and it was also a good product.
Would I repurchase? Yes, I would
Holika Holika Golden Monkey Glamour Lip 3-step kit
It was fun to do but only with first go, I didn’t see much of a difference. My lips are quite perfect already as they come. I would say that for me it is more of a fun pick-me-up product. The honey lip essence (step 3) tasted like honey and moisturised well.
Would I repurchase? Yes, I would

Is the body shop makeup remover oil based or no?

It usually says on the bottle if it can remove waterproof makeup. On this one I did not find it.

My Beauty Blender sponge is finally cracking after 2 years of usage. So weird how yours got hard on the inside though!
Covergirl Lashblast Volume Mascara is my HG! Better than mascaras from Sephora.
All those sheet masks are adorable!

It was weird. My previous beauty blender lasted me for 8 months but this was good barely for 3 months. I don’t recall doing anything differently either. It was just so weird. Lashblast mascara was so wonderful. My eyelashes looked really good with that on 🙂

I’ve tried the beauty blender before but I prefer my Real Techniques sponge. Very weird that yours became hard.
