Another month has passed so it is time to take a look at the products which I liked and loved in the past four weeks. In this post you will see some of my new favourites and a bunch of old ones. Like they say- old love doesn’t rust.
Fresh Nude Cushion Foundation
This foundation has a light to medium coverage. It comes with a sponge and built in mirror, which makes it a perfect product to take with you for the day. I definitely did that. I had a nasty cold during the first weeks of the month so it was very helpful. After every nose blowing, I “powdered” my nose over with the cushion foundation. It was a lifesaver and helper in making me look better.
Down To Earth Eye Palette
This was my loyal companion through the month. It has nice warm earthy tones which makes it a good helper to achieve nude subtle look. I mostly used the four lightest shades on the palette. I applied the lighter tones all over the lid and brow bone, and the tad darker in the crease.
The Body Shop Instaglow CC Cream Bright Glow
Bright Glow CC cream is meant for light skin. On the packaging it says reduces sallowness and brightens complexion. I have been wearing it by itself, under powder, foundation, and under a combination of the two. It works well as a foundation primer. The finish is silky and matte, which I really like. The CC cream also gives sun protection SPF 20, which is necessary during summer. You can read more about it here
African Ximenia Scrub
To get rid of daily stress, I use a bit of African Ximenia Scrub in my evening showers. It has a warm, soft, sweet scent. It is a soft but effective scrub that makes me feel like a million bucks after the shower. It has a thicker consistency and glides on my skin like a warm, sugary butter.
Hawaiian Kukui Cream
Before bed I moisturise my skin with Hawaiian Kukui Cream. On the skin it feels light and is easily smearable. When applying it on my skin, it disappears rapidly without leaving my skin feeling greasy. I think due to the more buttery consistency it soaks in quicker than other body moisturizers I have used.
JOIK Refreshing foot bath
I usually do a foot bath after long days of being active. My feet get stressed easily so the foot bath is a blessing. I use boiling almost too hot water and two teaspoons of bath salt. After the foot bath my feet are much more relaxed and less tired. It also brings a really good night sleep. You can read more about it here.
NYX Lip Lingerie in the tone Exotic
It is a lip cream with a matte finish. It is also a food, drink, and kiss proof lip cream. I love those kind of lip products. I feel so much more carefree, and it is quite convenient throughout the day. I don’t have to worry if I need to reapply my lip cream everytime after eating. The formula is soft and glides easily on the lips. It has quite a neutral, light scent.
The tone Exotic is like dark taupe dustyrose. It is beautiful colour which suits perfectly with my natural complexion.
NYX Butter Gloss in the tone Creme Brulee
It glides on well, the applicator is easy to control. One of the best things about this gloss is, it doesn’t leave lips tacky. Yes, you are wearing a glossy lip product but it doesn’t feel like your lips are glued together. So big plus for that.
I loved how it had a milder tone on the lips than in the bottle. The lipgloss was easy to apply thanks to its doe foot applicator. I could reach to the corners of my lip as well, without smudging it over the lip line. I imagined if I wore a matching tone lip liner under it, the tone would be more vivid.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution
It is a lightweight, pre-serum concentrate that combats blemishes and improves the overall condition of skin. I used it twice a day, in the morning and in the evening. If you are interested to find out more about the product, you can read full review here.

The Hawaiian Kukui Cream sounds great – I haven’t see that, I’ll have to check it out at the store.
Have you tried the Body Shop face masks yet? I’m thinking of trying one but not sure which one.

The Hawaiian Kukui Cream came out in January or February. I think it should be available in stores 😊
By face masks you mean the Superfood masks? Yes, I’ve tried them! The Rose and Himalayan are my favourites 😄 I wrote a review about them too —> The Body Shop Superfood Face Masks review: Himalayan Charcoal; British Rose; Chinese Ginseng & Rice – http://wp.me/p6XS0y-Gv

Oh that’s right, now I remember how you multi masked with them! I saw a duo set at the Body Shop and it contained the Himalayan Charcoal and the British Rose! Such a coincidence that those are your favourites. I wanted to try the rose but wasn’t sure about the other one. I think I’m doing to pick it up today. Thanks so much!
