October empties

Another month has passed, another bunch of products are used up. This time I managed to finish a lot of products from makeup. It’s a longer post so grab a drink and make yourself comfortable. Without further ado, let’s get into this.

The Body Shop Elderflower Unperfumed Eye Gel

It was soothing and cooling under my eyes. For me, the gel was a lifesaver in the mornings after a night of bad sleep.

The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover

The eye makeup remover did a fantastic job. When I used it, I held a cotton pad on my eyes for fifteen seconds. After that I gently wiped my eye makeup off.

This formula was gentle on the eyes. I didn’t have to rinse my eyes after or feel any soreness. I was positively surprised with the product. Plus, did I mention how good the packaging looks? Within a few months it has become a holy grail product. About my other holy grail products you can read here (link)

The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Gel Wash

It was a face cleanser with mineral rich seaweed from Roaring Water Bay Ireland. I used it as a first step of my morning routine and the second step of my evening routine. It cleansed my skin well. The product removed my makeup without any trouble and gave me a clean feel. It foamed nicely and smelled even better

The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner

It was an alcohol free toner for combination/oily skin. It was my first experience with this product. I have used seaweed masks and scrubs before, but not the toner. I used it twice a day as a part of my morning and evening routine. The toner felt cooling and nice on my face. After using it, my skin felt fresh and clean. I also loved the scent of the product. Plus, it mattified my skin which is always nice for me.

Smashbox Photo Finish More Than Primer Blemish Control

I wasn´t overly excited about this product but it was kind of good, I mean, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t that good either.

Would I repurchase? No

Nivea Hydrocare Lip Balm

It was a decent go-to chapstick. It wasn’t super moisturising but it did its job well. I liked the light blue packaging.

Would I repurchase? Yes

JOIK Refreshing foot bath salt

The product looked like coarse grain salt. It dissolved easily in warm bath water.

The smell of the bath salt was on a stronger side. I usually did a foot bath after long days of being active. After the foot bath my feet were much more relaxed and less tired. It also brought a really good night sleep. I wrote a full review about it too not long ago. You can read it here.
