Another month has passed so it is time to take a look at the products which I liked and loved in the past four weeks.
The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Gel Wash
It is a face cleanser with mineral rich seaweed from Roaring Water Bay Ireland. I use it as a first step of my morning routine and the second step of my evening routine. It cleanses my skin well. The product removes my makeup without any trouble and gives me a clean feel. It foams nicely and smells even better. I guess I just like the scent of the Seaweed range.
The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner
It is an alcohol free toner for combination/oily skin. It is my first experience with this product. I have used seaweed masks and scrubs before, but not the toner. I have been using it twice a day as a part of my morning and evening routine. The toner feels cooling and nice on my face. After using it, my skin feels fresh and clean. I also love the scent of the product. Plus, it mattifies my skin which is always nice for me.
The Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask
This is a refreshing gel face mask which is infused with real rose petals, rose essence, rosehip oil and organic Community Trade aloe vera. It promises to moisturise the skin and give it a smooth, youthful, dewy appearance. I use this mask every two days. I apply it on my cheeks and down to the jaw area. The scent of the mask is sweet. It smells like a rose garden on a sunny afternoon. I love the rosy scent! You can read a full review about the product here.
Turbliss Firming and Enlivening Body Oil
I wrote a full review about the product here. I use it every day after my morning shower. The oil spreads easily on my skin and absorbs quickly. I don’t have that oily feeling after, and that means I can get dressed after a minute or two after using it. The scent of the product is herby and a bit spicy. It leaves a light scent on the skin which disappears within ten minutes.
Covergirl Lashblast Volume Mascara
LashBlast mascara has been really impressing me. With two coats it gives me long, dramatic, clump-free, curled, and separated lashes. It doesn’t smear or flake through the day. The brush is rubber-bristled and slightly oversized but that has never bothered me. That is actually what I like. I prefer rubber-bristled brushes over “traditional” ones.
