The Body Shop Haul

Last month I finished my loyal companion in my morning and evening routine, Tea Tree 3-in-1 Wash.Scrub.Mask (review here). On the early days of August I finished my seaweed clay mask as well. I was almost out of eye makeup remover too. All that meant that I needed to go to The Body Shop and fix those absences on my shelves. In this post I am going to tell you what I got.

Although I loved 3-in-1 wash.scrub.mask, curious as I am, I wanted to try something new. I still aimed for the tea tree line because those products suit my skin well. The other line that suits me is seaweed. I decided to get a mixed combo from those products.

Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub

As I was browsing The Body Shop’s webpage I saw a product called Squeaky-Clean Scrub from Tea tree line. It looked so interesting that the next day I made my way to the shop. It is a face wash gel with gentle micro-fine exfoliants in it. It looked like something that would suit me.

I have been using it for five days now, in the morning and in the evening. So far it has been a great washing gel. It foams nicely and if I apply more pressure, it scrubs my face too. After washing, my skin feels clean and looks matte.

Seaweed Clarifying Toner

I haven’t been using a toner on a regular basis for a while now. This time when I was in the shop, I decided to give it a go. I sometimes felt that moving from a face wash to a cream was just too big of a step.

I picked up Seaweed Clarifying Toner. It is an alcohol free toner for combination/oily skin. It is my first experience with this product. I have used seaweed mask and scrubs before, but not the toner. Like the tea tree squeaky scrub, it has been on my shelf for five days but so far I love it. The toner feels cooling and nice on my face. After using it, my skin feels fresh and clean. I also love the scent of the product. Plus, it mattifies my skin which is always nice for me.

Seaweed Oil Balancing Clay Mask

This mask is my old favourite. I think this is my second time repurchase. I love how the mask smells, feels on my face and the result I get. On the package it says to leave it on for ten minutes. Depending on how thick the layer I apply, it either dries completely or not. I wouldn’t recommend keeping it on more than fifteen minutes. I once lost myself in a book, and before I realised, almost an hour had passed. It resulted with my skin feeling quite sensitive. So, if you are doing the mask, keep an eye on the time. It’s better for you to follow the instructions when it comes to face masks. Trust me, I learned that the hard way.

After washing it off or removing it with a makeup sponge, my skin feels soft and pure. It is such a wonderful feeling. The facial cream I use after, goes on so smoothly and the feeling is just divine.

Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover

Last but not least, the fourth product I purchased is Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover. The last bottle is almost empty so I had to get a new one. It would be really sad and inconvenient if I suddenly realised one night that I’m out of my makeup remover.

Here are a few words about the makeup remover too. It does a fantastic job. When I use it, I hold a cotton pad on my eyes for fifteen seconds. After that I gently wipe my eye makeup off. The formula is gentle on the eyes. I am quite certain that even those who have sensitive eyes can use it. I didn’t have to rinse my eyes after or feel any soreness.

  1. Nice haul and review! I loved the camomile make up remover. I haven’t tried anything from the Seaweek line myself. My skin is too dry and sensitive. But I started using the Tea Tree BB cream a few months ago and love it. Have you tried that one yet?

    • I’m glad you liked the post! 😊 Yes, I have tried the BB cream. Unfortunately the tone doesn’t suit me. It is too pink and warm for my skin. I have yellow undertone skin and even good blending didn’t make things better. I like the idea tho, if they had my tone, I’d definitely use it.

  2. I just saw the store here set up the new tea tree oil range. My skin can’t handle tea tree but it looks like a comprehensive collection!
Ooh it looks like they repackaged the Camomile eye makeup remover.
I always enjoy seeing what you get from the Body Shop! 🙂

    • Yes, they are repackaging skincare lines. Giving them new designs and sizes. The new makeup remover is in bigger bottle than the one with previous design (I hope my sentence makes sense). Basically they are lowering the prices by repackaging products into bigger containers. I absolutely love Tea Tree line 💕 It’s great for my skin. Seaweed is also good. It is suitable for combination skin so maybe it will be okay for your skin?
