A few weeks back I received Firming And Enlivening Body Oil from Turbliss to test out. I was very excited about the product from the moment I heard about it. Keep reading to find out how I liked it.
On the bottle it says:
“Moisturizes, firms and revives dry and dull skin. Geranium and juniper berry stimulate skin metabolism, help to reduce water retention and remove toxins from the skin. Suitable to use as a massage oil. When applied to damp skin the oil absorbs quickly. Contains natural essential oils. 100% natural. Apply on clean damp skin 1-2 times a day using circular massaging movements.”
When I used it-
I used it every day after my morning shower. Indeed, like it said on the bottle, it absorbed quickly on the damp skin. I loved that characteristic. For me, it is important that whatever moisturiser I use in the mornings, it disappears without me having to put too much effort into it. In the mornings I just don’t have time to spare to wait for my skin to dry.
Where I used it-
I suppose it is meant more for thighs and cellulite areas but I used it all over my body. It took me twelve pumps of oil to get everything moisturised from neck to toes. The oil spread easily on my skin and absorbed quickly. I didn’t have that oily feeling after, and that meant I could get dressed after a minute or two after using it.
Did it work-
Did I notice my legs getting firmer? It made my legs smoother and I didn’t feel problematic areas so well under my hand like before. In appearance, I didn’t see any difference. What I did notice was that my skin remained moisturised a day after I used the oil. I also noticed that it moisturized my hands as well. On my everyday job, I deal with a lot of different type paper (texture wise), I need my skin to be moisturised for a better grip. The oil made using hand cream not a necessity during the day.
The scent of the product was herby and a bit spicy. It left a light scent on the skin which disappeared within ten minutes. On some days, I wished it would have stayed longer. I liked the scent.
The bottle is made of glass with a spray pump on top. That made getting oil out of the bottle easy. The only downside for me was the fact that pump was bit stiff. I wish it were less tight, so getting the product out was easier. The first pumps were easy because my hands were still dry. The next ones weren’t as easy as before because then my hands were already oily. I had to hold the bottle with a firmer grip so I wouldn’t drop it. Another possibility would have been washing my hands between applying the oil onto different areas on my body but that would have taken too much time.
