The month of May is my birthday month. Everyone who has a Body Shop loyalty card gets -30% discount on a one time purchase during their birthday month. I am not sure if it applies to other countries, but luckily for me, it applies to Estonia. So if you have been my blog’s follower for a while, you might now that I can’t pass up these kind of offers from The Body Shop.
I bought some creams, and my holy grail products. In addition I got a gift and few samplers too. Do you also like samplers like I do?
Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalising Sleeping Cream
I used up a little sample jar of this not too long ago. The cream was concentrated, so a small amount went a long way. I applied it before bed. When I woke, my skin was still moisturised, it felt fresh, and I had that wonderful morning glow. You can read full review here.
This time I got myself a full size product. It is so good that it gives serious competition to my Drops Of Youth Sleeping Mask. I am torn between the two because obviously I can’t use them both at the same time. I will probably switch back and forth every couple of weeks. You can read about Drops Of Youth Sleeping Mask here- February haul / March empties
Drops of Youth™ Youth Cream
I first tried it from a little sampler package and I fell in love. It is very airy cream, soft, and moisturising. The cream has subtle fresh scent. A big plus is that it disappears into the skin quickly. Currently I am using it as a morning cream.
I still have a half of the jar left from the February haul, and it will last me at least for another month. I purchased it as a back up. You know, less stress, the better for your skin.
Almond Hand & Nail Cream
I have a feeling I talk about this hand cream every few months. I just love it. I use hand cream probably twelve times a day, after every hand wash. The cream instantly moisturises, doesn’t leave my skin greasy, and it has a subtle almond scent. Plus, my nails are happy too. I love the almond scent and its texture. The texture is soft and a bit thicker than the usual hand creams are. It soaks into my skin quickly and doesn’t leave my hands greasy.
Eye Makeup remover
The remover is a two phase product. Like other types of liquids, you have to shake it before using it.
The eye makeup remover does a fantastic job. When I use it, I hold a cotton pad on my eyes for fifteen seconds. After that I gently wipe my eye makeup off.
The formula is gentle on the eyes. I am quite certain that even those who have sensitive eyes, can use it. I didn’t have to rinse my eyes after or feel any soreness. I am positively surprised with the product.
This is my second bottle of the remover but I can easily say that is has become my holy grail product. It is gentle on my eyes and does its job well.
As a gift I got an Argan Oil Body Butter in a mini size. I haven’t used it yet but I am quite sure I will like it. I smelled the tester in the store and I really liked the scent. This little jar is going to go in my “new unused products” basket in a line after blueberry body butter.
Moringa Body Butter – I love the fresh scent.
Shea Body Butter – This is my holy grail body butter. If I am in a doubt between two body butters, and this is one of the options, I don’t have to think about which one to pick.
The Body Shop Tea Tree 3-in-1 Wash.Scrub.Mask – I use this product twice a day, sometimes three times a day. I love it. You can read my review about it here
Vitamin E Moisture-Protect Emulsion – I haven’t used it yet
Drops Of Youth Youth Concentrate – I have received these little samplers before too. I have used the drops right before applying day cream. It gives my skin a tight firm feeling.
I hope you enjoyed this post. If you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to let me know.
