At some moment last month I got a little (5ml/0,17oz) sampler jar from The Body Shop with Oils Of Life Sleeping Cream. I placed it on my shelf and left it there for few weeks. I was more than sure it wouldn’t suit my skin since I am not a fan of their facial oil. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but I was so wrong. I loved it.
Curiosity got the best of me and I thought that since I have it, I might as well give it a go. I think I was amazed within the few first seconds. The cream smelled so nice (like all Oils Of Life products), and was a beautiful cream gold tone.
I applied the cream as the last step of my evening routine. That means after I take my makeup off and tone my skin. At first I was afraid, it would stay thick on my skin and wouldn’t want to soak in, but I was wrong. The cream was concentrated, and a small amount went a long way. That was also the reason why it soaked in quickly and didn’t leave my skin greasy. I used the little jar for two weeks. I think it says something about how well the cream was concentrated.
In the morning my skin was moisturised, it felt fresh and I had that wonderful morning glow. Really, those were mornings where I could have taken a picture and posted to Instagram, #IWokeUpLikeThis. That was an important aspect for me with the cream. It gave beautiful glow without making my skin oily. I already have combination/oily skin, so I don’t need more oil on my face. That is probably the reason why the facial oil didn’t suit me.
Good:
- Smells and looks good
- Small amount goes a long way
- Gives a beautiful complexion by the morning
- Doesn’t make skin oily
- Suitable for combination/oily skin type
- Lasts for a long time
Sad:
- Bit on a pricy side
- I finished the jar
Will I buy a full size of the product? Yes!

This seems so great, I got a little sample pouch of this and for the one use that lasted me it did feel really great. I’m definitely interested in trying more of this range out! xxx

That cream was amazing. It is a serious competition to Drops of Youth sleeping mask. They have face oil too in the oils of life range, but that didn´t work for me. I have already combination skin, so oil is too much for me.

I also have combination skin, so do try to avoid oils, but I do love a good cream. I also tried a sample sachet of the drops of youth one, and loved that too! xx

I also have combo/oily skin so most moisturizers would always make my skin so oily in the morning😳 *sigh* But since this doesn’t, I will save some money and try this out soon 😂 Hopefully I can save some money. Anyways, great review as always 👍❤

Thank you! I hope you like the cream. Maybe you can ask a sampler from the store before buying full size? It would be shame if it didn´t suit you but the miney is spent.

You’re very welcome 😀 Oh yes! Before buying any expensive products, I usually try a sample to see if I like them. 🙂 Thank you for the remainder. I will see if I can get a sample from them.

[…] The third and the last step is moisturising my face. For that I use Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalising Sleeping Cream or Drops Of Youth Sleeping Mask. I apply the cream as the last step in my evening routine. The cream is concentrated, and a small amount goes a long way. You can read about the cream here. […]
