Everyday makeup

Today I am going to share with you the makeup and products I use everyday. These have been my go-to makeup for a few weeks now. It is nice to have go-to makeup on mornings when you are still in the sleepy-land with one eye open, brushing teeth with face gel moments. Just kidding! Although I have come close to that.

To achieve the look, I use a lot of different products. Of course I could do it with less, but this way it is just more comfortable.

Some of the products I need for my everyday look

First step is to prepare my skin. I prime my face before I begin to add the other products.

After primer

Here you can see my “before” look with just the primer. As usual, I begin with the eye makeup. The reason for that is simple- if I don’t have foundation on, the fallouts are easy to wipe off. Otherwise I usually end up ruining the foundation.

Eyes are done

To do the eye makeup I use the following products:

Used products to do the eyes

Etam Push Up Regard Crayon Kohl Ultra-Pigmente– Long name short- it is a white eyeliner in the tone 01 Beige Toute Nue. I use it in the corner of my eye, and on the lower waterline.

Etam Push Up Regard Crayon A Paupieres Longue Tenue– It is eyeshadow in creamy pencil form. I have it in the tone 02 Peche A La Ligne. I use it as a basecoat for my eyeshadow. The Etam´s eyeshadow pencil works really well as an eyelid primer. It holds all the colours in place and makes them pop more.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette – Colours Thirteen (inner corner), Combust (base), Whiskey (crease), Black Market (outer corner), Dirtysweet (lid), High (browbone).

I love how blendable the colours are. It is perfect for a smokey eye. It is also one of my Top 5 Products.

As you maybe noticed, I have some zitastrophies going on on my chin. To cover those up, I use multiple products.

After foundation

On my face I used following products:

The Beauty Blender – You can read about it here

Smashbox Photo Finish More Than Primer Blemish Control– I have been using it only for a week, so I won’t give my judgement about it yet. Right now, I like it, but will I love it? Only time will tell.

Since I finished Revlon Colorstay foundation, I use Covergirl Outlast Stay Luminous. About the Revlon foundation, you can read in my other blog posts entitled Top 5 Products, and January Empties.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Luminous – I use the tone 810 Classic Ivory. This is actually one shade too light for me, but I can make it work with the help of bronzer. Also, if you have oily skin, you should use a primer under this foundation. A good powder can be a helpful product, to keep this foundation moving. I think it is more suitable for dry skin. Overall, I am not really happy with the foundation, but it isn’t too bad.

Revlon Colorstay Concealer– I have it in the tone “02 Light”. I wrote about this in my post entitled Work Essentials

The Body Shop Loose Face Powder– I am using the tone 02. It is a good powder. It sets and tones my face. Without this powder, my Covergirl foundation isn’t lasting more than four hours.

The Balm Fratboy blush – I talked about it in my Top 5 Product post.

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter –  I talked about it in my Top 5 Product post.

The Body Shop Shimmer Waves – I have it in the shade 04 Coral. This is a perfect product to blend in blush and highlighter. On some days I also use it as a blush and highlighter in one. It is a good alternative during summer when your sunkissed skin needs just a little touch up with light shimmer.

Rimmel London Natural Bronzer – I use it in the shade 021 Sun Light. It is a natural bronzer with minerals.

When I have finished “my face”,  I move to my brows, and lips.

Brows, lashes, lips

Maybelline Browdrama Pro Palette – I have it in a shade 260 Deep Brown. Most of the time I use only powder.

Maybelline Volum´ Express The One By One mascara – I use the tone Satin Black. It gives great volume, and length.  I have received quite a few compliments while wearing the mascara. Everything would be perfect if there weren’t one little problem- it has slight fallout after six hours of wearing. This is not my favourite mascara.

The Body Shop Lip Liner – I use it in a tone Clover Pink. It has a softer formula and is really easy to apply to your lips. The pencil defines, and creates a good base for lipstick.

NYX Butter Lipstick – I have it in the tone BLS17 Pops Explosif. I love this lipstick. I´ve been wearing it almost everyday since I got it in October. It has a nice soft buttery formula, and goes well with every look.

This is the final look.

  1. Very pretty! I love the fact that you wrote about all the products you use. I have both the Naked 2 and Naked Smoky Palettes and both are used on a regular basis. The NYX butter lipsticks are also a favorite of mine. But–I noticed a couple of products from Etam–the crayons. I’m making note of them. I’ll be in France in a few months and always make sure to buy beauty products when I’m there. We don’t have Etam in the States. Thanks so much for the informative post! You really are beautiful with or without cosmetics!

    • Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 I thought my readers would be interested in few comments about used products. This is the only NYX product I have and I absolutely love it. With right tone of lip liner it also stays pretty well on lips. The Etam crayons are perfect for eyeshadow base and for wearing alone too. My only regret is that I didn’t buy more of them when I visited France during summer.

  2. I always do my eye makeup first too – much easier to clean up fall out.
I was curious about the CG Outlast Stay Luminous foundation since I really like the original version. Have you tried that one?
    Great look! 🙂
Also, I just noticed that you’re from Tallinn, Estonia! I visited there 3 years ago – we were visiting Helsinki and took a ferry over and spent the day. Beautiful city and fantastic food! 🙂

    • Thank you! I’m glad you like my look 😊
This is the only CG foundation I’ve ever used. They don’t sell it in Estonia. I bought the foundation when I was on a trip to US last October. I’ve heard the original one should be better for oily skin? The one I have kind of melts off if I don’t use primer and powder.
I’m glad you liked Tallinn. We have amazing Old town. Did you know that Tallinn’s Old Town is under protection of UNESCO?
May I ask where are you from?
