This time I don’t have any makeup products in my favourites list. The reason is simple. I didn’t buy anything new. Also, the products mentioned in my “Top 5” are still the ones I reach for every morning.
In December, The Body Shop rocked my world of skincare.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser – I bought it at the end of November and I´ve used it every day since then. At first, I planned to use it only as a primer under my foundation. As the days passed, I’d noticed that it is also perfect to use as a day cream since it keeps my skin´s oil production at bay. On the tube it says “Pores look smaller, skin feels purer. Smoothes, primes and instantly mattifies.” I can confirm, it does exactly what it is suppose to do. My pores look smaller on my cheeks and that is giving me healthier look.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist – I bought this also in the end of November when I had the Body Shop haul. I have been using it as a makeup setting spray as planned. I also have been using it on the days where I am not wearing any makeup to refresh my face. What I like about it the most is that it also moisturises my skin without leaving it greasy. It is perfect to use after a shower when it is too late for day cream, and too early for night cream.

The Body Shop Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask – This mask is suitable for combination/oily skin since it purifies, cleanses, and controls excess oil. I´ve been using it twice a week after my shower, when the hot water and steam have already prepared my skin for a face mask. I apply the mask, wait ten minutes, then wash it off. I love how soft my skin feels after the mask. My face is clean, smooth, and the redness is reduced. Plus, I look like the better, sexy half of Voldemort while wearing the mask. It is totally a win-win situation.
The Body Shop Olive Body Butter – The body butter has fresher smell than you would probably think at first. I was expecting dry scent when I first picked it up but actually it has nice fresh smell. It reminds me of a sunny spring morning after a good rain and I love it. The body butter contains cold-pressed Community Fair Trade organic olive oil from Italy.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Original – I am pretty sure I lived under a rock because this is quite a new discovery for me. Now I can’t imagine my life without it. You can tell by the size of the container that I just wanted to try it out. I don’t want to wash my hair over every other day but I like the clean look, so I use it on the second day after washing my hair. On the evening of the second day I spray it on my roots, rub it in, make a plait (or two), and go to bed. By the morning my hair looks cleaner and is easy to style without being greasy. The fresh look stays all day and that is all I need. In the evening I wash my hair and it all starts over again.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Have you used any of the mentioned products? How did you like them?

There are so many scents I love in The Body Shop that I can´t name one favourite. I like shea, blueberry, olive, strawberriy, vitamin e, frosted plum, passion fruit, raspberry and I am pretty sure there was more but I can´t remember it right now haha.

I’m not sure if you’ve been nominated for this already, but I’ve nominated you to take part in the beauty blogger award tag thing, I don’t totally understand it myself, but I’ve gone along with it! https://jadeyrae.wordpress.com/2016/01/10/the-beauty-blogger-award/

I didn’t know you nominated me! Thank you! But I’ve been nominated already by the same person who nominated you. I don’t fully understand it myself either but I guess it won’t take a part from me to play along. 🙂
