The packaging looks nice and simple with a picture of an avocado on it. I was really excited to try it, until I actually did it.
To get the mask out I needed to rip off the top, which isn’t really worth mentioning. It was like any other type of mask packaging. When I was taking the fabric mask out, it was nicely soaked with the product. The only downside was, I noticed it dripped quite a lot. I haven’t used a lot fabric masks, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. For me, it was rather annoying.
The mask had a fresh scent, and I´d say a bit cucumbery. When I use a nourishing mask, I want them to have a fresh scent. So that was welcomed.
When it came to applying the mask, I found myself slightly struggling with the size. It was too big for my face. I had to fold down edges from my hairline because I didn’t want the product to get in my hair. Especially since I’d just washed my hair before trying it.
Since the mask was too wide for me, I had to stay still and in a horizontal position. Being upright with the mask on, made me feel like it was going to fall off of my face any second. It would have bothered me if I had to do something in those twenty minutes.
On the package it said to gently remove the mask after twenty minutes, and with circular motions rub the remaining product into your skin. I followed the instructions. I was disappointed with how much product the mask left on my skin. After few hours, my face was still sticky. The product had simply dried up on my skin and left me with mask-like feeling. With my vivid imagination I just knew it was clogging my pores.
On the package it said it will keep skin oil production and ph balance under control. It also promised to leave my skin smooth, fresh and clean. In reality, it wasn’t anything like that.
I won’t purchase it again.
