The gift set comes in a little black box. The outer surface feels to the touch a bit like cloth, and is deep black with tiny sparkles. The box is closed with a magnet in the middle which is easily opened if needed. Over all it has a glam rock finish and is a true eye catcher.

2015 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 430 times in 2015. If it were a cable car, it would take about 7 trips to carry that many people.

24 Happy Days aka The Body Shop’s Christmas Calendar part four

Part one”,  “part two” and “part three” ← are here.

Cleaning Makeup Sponges

Who doesn’t know how annoying it is to wash your makeup sponges over and over again to remove all traces of foundation from them? I sure do. Before discovering this simple hack, I threw my makeup sponges away after three weeks of using. Now, I can use them for longer a period of time. It is more wallet friendly, and I have more money to spend on other makeup products. A perfect deal, right?

The Christmas Party Makeup

During the month of December people usually have a lot of different parties to go to. Parties, as we all know, require bit of dressing up and wearing your best look of the day. My life is no different from other’s. Already now, I know I have at least two Christmas parties marked down in my calendar, and they may not be the only ones I will be invited to. So on occasions like these, it is good if you have your go-to makeup look for every outfit or party.

In this post I am going to show you my typical go-to look for events which need celebrating. I am going to use all the products which are pictured below.Read More »
